Sarah MacWright is an artist based in Jersey City, NJ.
As an undergraduate, studying at Williams College and abroad at The Glasgow School of Art, Sarah explored the intersections of art, technology and education, an interest that is evident in all that she does today.
After college, Sarah taught photography, painting and drawing for three years at The Doane Stuart School in Albany, NY.
While in Albany, Sarah also mounted her first professional solo show at the Feast Gallery in Saratoga Springs and exhibited prints on hand-crafted emulsion at the Russell Gallery in Deerfield, MA.
Recently, Sarah returned to her native New Jersey to make art and pursue a Master of Arts in Art Education from New York University.
When Sarah’s not in the studio or the classroom, she can be found at your local sushi restaurant eating hamachi don.
